PRETREATMENT FOR ALUMINIUM BEFORE POWDER COATING
Ashok Industry an ISO 9001 Certified Company manufactures various Metal pre-treatment Chemicals since 1960 and offers a simple 4-stage chemical process for pre-treating Aluminium Surfaces prior to powder coating or liquid painting.
Stage 1 involves cleaning with 2% - 5% solution of SCALGUN-A with water at room temperature for 3 , 5 minutes.
Stage 2 Water Rinsing.
Stage 3 involves Chromatising with 1 - 3% solution of ASHCROM-G70 with water at room temperature for 3 , 5 minutes.
Stage 4 Water Rinsing and Air Drying.
Following the above simple process gives excellent paint bonding/adhesion of powder coats to the base surface. It also gives excellent corrosion protection.
