ASFOSIL-DW56 is a oil baseddark coloured rust preventive containing rust inhibitors, oils and film formingingredients. It produces a soft, thin,oily type film giving protection of up to ten months on plain metal surfacesand up to 20 months on phosphated or blackened surfaces. It also displacesmoisture or droplets of water that might be present on the surface.

USES:

It is mainly used as a sealant forphosphated components and also for sealing micro-porous coatings mainly at thefinal packaging stage. It can also beused for protection of moving components as it has good lubricating properties.

APPLICATION :

It is mainly used by dipping method in a M.S. or Plasticcontainer at room temperature with immersion time of 2-5 minutes. It can also be used by spray, brush or swabfor larger components. It is to be used directly without any dilution. Parts and components must be completely cleanbefore applying ASFOSIL-DW56.
